Bonds Bounce Back After Initial Weakness Following NFP
  • Headline NFP +211k vs 185k forecast
  • Previous reading revised even lower to 79k
  • Average Earnings +0.3 vs +0.3 forecast
  • Unemployment drops to 4.4 vs 4.6 forecast and 4.5 previously

Yields were higher out of the gate, hitting 2.38, but have since bounced back to positive territory (currently unchanged around 2.35).  MBS are in a similar position, hovering between unchanged and slightly positive.  More to follow as the trade develops (IF it develops).
