Bonds Surge as FBI Releases Another Clinton Surprise

In an odd and as yet unexplained twist of events, the FBI just released documents from a 2001 probe of the Clinton Foundation.  Most striking is the fact that these documents appear to have been uploaded to the FBI's public system just yesterday.

Stocks and bonds aren't sure what to make of this, and have reacted accordingly--by moving away from risk.  Bond yields are now at session lows and back into positive territory.  MBS are now unchanged on the day.

IF even half of the gains from the last 20 minutes stick around, positive reprices should follow.

Here's a link to the FBI's "recently added" documents: https://vault.fbi.gov/recently-added

The doc itself is redacted, but nonetheless serves as fuel for speculation (and for twitter-reading algorithmic trading programs).
